Our 6th-grade science curriculum is a blend of sciences: life, earth, physical, engineering/technology, and it is aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). While engaging in hands-on, project-centered learning activities, students investigate various topics, including the cellular functions in plants and animals, factors influencing climate, energy transfer, and the engineering and design process. Throughout the course, students pose questions, conduct observations, and formulate conclusions based on evidence. Projects and activities are structured to nurture creativity and inspire students to devise innovative solutions to real-world challenges.
