What inspired you to become a teacher, and what do you enjoy most about teaching your subject?
Throughout my life, I have always helped fellow classmates with school subjects that they have struggled with. I liked helping others because I know the issues many people face when it comes to memorizing specific information or formulas. If I could help them understand the subject matter just a bit more, I knew it would benefit them greatly and they would have less stress within their lives. This developed later in life as well when I would help my younger siblings with school subjects and understanding the content they had been given.
What are some of your hobbies or interests outside of the classroom?
My interests outside of the classroom include but are not limited to: video games, music and reading. I have always had a fascination for technology and pursued a bachelors in computer science because of that. The way technology functions and transmits data will always be something that I research and learn about on my own time.
What was your favorite subject in school and why?
My favorite subject in school has always been math. I love the satisfaction that comes from memorizing and properly applying functions and equations learned in class and it has also helped me outside of school in regards to thinking outside the box.
