What inspired you to become a teacher, and what do you enjoy most about teaching your subject?
When I was in high school, I created a Math and Science Tutoring Club as a resource for all of our students. Ever since then, I have been passionate about helping others understand and grasp the different concepts in a given subject. My parents and grandparents always placed a huge emphasis on education, and their passion has inspired me to do what I can to contribute to educating and helping people.
What are some of your hobbies or interests outside of the classroom?
Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my wife and dog (Milo the Aussiedoodle), watching/playing sports (basketball and soccer, mainly), going to the gym, and traveling.
What was your favorite subject in school and why?
Math was always my favorite subject. I love the problem-solving component, and I believe the skills utilized to solve a math problem can also be used to tackle many aspects of everyday life.
Anything else we should know about you?
I am a proud alumnus of University of Michigan (Go Blue!). I’m very excited for the upcoming school year, and I look forward to meeting and working with everyone!
