What inspired you to become a teacher, and what do you enjoy most about teaching your subject?

I’ve cared deeply about others’ success since I was little. There’s something magical about seeing the light bulb go on; that moment of realization, of “I can do this,” is what drives me to tutor students. I love helping students (especially the littles) discover their strengths.

What are some of your hobbies or interests outside of the classroom?

I find joy in baking, cheering on my children at their activities, and diving into self-help books, videos, and articles that inspire growth. These quiet moments recharge me and reflect my passion for nurturing others, whether through a warm treat or a word of encouragement.

What was your favorite subject in school and why?

I enjoyed any subject that helped me learn, but history stood out. I loved unraveling the stories of past civilizations and understanding how they shaped our world. It taught me that learning from the past can empower us to build a better future.

Anything else we should know about you?

I’m an empath and a deep listener. I strive to make others feel seen, heard, and valued—whether in a classroom, a meeting, or a casual conversation. My goal is always to uplift and empower.
