Intro to Unity Video Game Development

Courses Overview

Learn the basics of making video games in the Unity game engine, by developing a 2D game prototype. Through the creation of the prototype, students will be exposed to the standard tools used in Unity, C# programming, level design, music/sound effects and more.

* No experience is necessary.

Maximum Class Size: 10 (spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis)
Minimum Class Size: 5 (the course will need to be canceled if the minimum number of enrollments is not met)


Live classes meet for two hours per week and students complete independent work outside of regular class time.

High School students may earn non A-G credit.

Materials

All students must have a PC or Mac computer that is capable of running the Unity game engine. The Unity game engine must also be installed on each student’s computer prior to the first class.
