Science, Grade 7

Courses Overview

Seventh-grade science focuses on the structure, function, and diversity of living organisms. Students study cells, genetics, ecosystems, natural selection, and human body systems. They examine how organisms interact with each other and their environments and how traits are inherited and changed over time.

Students engage in lab investigations, build models of biological systems, and analyze patterns in data to understand how life operates and adapts. Emphasis is placed on asking questions, testing ideas, and communicating findings clearly and effectively.
