This elective course will explore leaders from the central living religious traditions, including Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Daoism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and more. Students will analyze each leader’s belief structure, ritual system, literature, social dynamics, and historical significance. Additionally, students will examine each religion through a historical and societal perspective to comprehend its origins and regional influences.
