Distinct learning approaches, synchronous (live virtual) and asynchronous, offer students unique opportunities for engagement and flexibility.
Synchronous (live virtual)
Teachers lead interactive and collaborative activities during scheduled live class sessions. Teachers assess and grade students’ work.
Live classes are held twice weekly, each lasting one hour. (The frequency may vary between courses.)
In live sessions, students actively participate by asking questions, seeking assistance with assignments, collaborating with peers, and engaging in group projects.
Students maintain a respectful atmosphere akin to in-person settings, observing guidelines such as keeping a quiet environment, having cameras on, and refraining from eating during class.
Parents can enroll their children in sessions with Branches Learning tutors who provide support for both live and asynchronous learning experiences.
Asynchronous
Students independently complete lessons and assignments with parental guidance. Parents regularly assess assignments using provided answer keys; Branches Learning teachers grade designated assignments.
Students have flexibility in their learning schedule, allowing them to watch videos, study materials, and complete assignments at their own pace.
Parents can enroll their child in sessions with Branches Learning tutors who offer support for both asynchronous and live learning experiences.
