Courses Overview
While enjoying a supportive and collaborative learning environment, fifth-grade LA students will meet grade-level standards as they explore diverse texts to deepen their reading comprehension and other literacy skills.
In this course, students will:
- Enhance their vocabulary by discovering new words within context and applying them effectively in written and verbal communications.
- Cultivate their writing proficiency across various genres, such as narratives, reports, and poetry, as they develop their unique voice and style.
- Collaborate on projects integrating language arts with other subjects, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and real-world application.
- Develop media literacy skills by critically evaluating and creating multimedia texts, such as presentations and digital stories.
