Courses Overview

This engaging Kindergarten English Language Arts course builds a strong foundation for reading through systematic phonics instruction while nurturing a love of stories and books. Students develop essential early literacy skills, including letter recognition, letter sounds, phonemic awareness, rhyming, blending, beginning decoding, and high-frequency words.

Through interactive read-alouds, storytelling, songs, games, and hands-on activities, students build vocabulary, listening comprehension, oral language, and early communication skills. They also develop beginning handwriting and writing skills by practicing letter formation, drawing, labeling, and simple sentence creation.
