Courses Overview

This engaging English Language Arts course for kindergarten and 1st grade is built around a strong phonics foundation while fostering a love of stories and literature. Through systematic phonics instruction, students develop essential early reading skills, including letter sounds, phonemic awareness, blending, decoding, spelling patterns, sight words, and fluency.

Students apply these growing reading skills through rich story-based learning experiences that bring literature to life. Through read-alouds, guided reading, storytelling, discussions, and creative activities, learners build comprehension, vocabulary, listening, and communication skills while developing a lifelong love of books.

This interactive live course also supports handwriting, beginning writing, speaking, and social learning in a fun and encouraging environment designed specifically for young students.
