Our kindergarten–1st grade math class makes learning numbers fun and engaging! The curriculum is aligned with early elementary standards and focuses on building strong foundational skills through hands-on exploration, play-based learning, and simple paper-and-pencil activities. We keep our class sizes small to ensure personalized attention for every student, fostering a supportive environment for growth.

In this course, students will:

  • Use manipulatives, visuals, and interactive activities to explore math concepts
  • Build foundational skills in counting, number recognition, addition and subtraction within 10, shapes, patterns, and basic measurement
  • Develop an early understanding of time, money, and real-world math connections
  • Gain confidence in solving simple everyday problems through guided practice
  • Participate in math-based activities that encourage communication, creativity, and collaboration
