Science, Grade 6

Courses Overview

In sixth grade, students explore the dynamic systems of our planet and beyond. They investigate weather patterns, climate, natural disasters, the water cycle, and Earth’s place in the solar system. Through hands-on activities and data analysis, students learn how Earth’s processes shape landscapes, how resources are distributed, and how human actions affect the environment. Students develop foundational scientific thinking skills by modeling phenomena, interpreting real-world data, and constructing evidence-based explanations.
